With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Donna Lynn Johnson Thomas of Greensboro, North Carolina, who departed this life on Sunday, June 14, 2026.

Donna was born on July 12, 1965, in Greensboro, North Carolina, to the late Robert J. Johnson and the late Peggy Ann Johnson. She was 60 years old.

Donna leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, DaQuita Ann Thomas; granddaughter, Dream Journey Simpson; three sisters, Deborah Johnson Graves (Charles), Sandra Johnson Jones (Rod), and Sebrena Machelle Johnson; one brother, Victor Ryan Johnson (Michelle); and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Darwin A. Thomas, Sr., and her son, Darwin A. Thomas, Jr. (DJ).

Memorial arrangements are currently being finalized and will be shared with family and friends once completed.
