Earron Irish
Vaughn
Feb 19, 1951 — Sep 6, 2026
Greensboro
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Earron Irish Vaughn, who departed this life on September 6, 2026, at Greenhaven Health & Rehabilitation Center in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Born on February 19, 1951, in Greensboro, North Carolina, Earron lived a life filled with laughter, kindness, and memorable moments. He dedicated many years of service as a Floor Technician and Environmental Service Worker at Bennett College, where he was respected for his hard work and dedication.
Earron found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved cooking meals for family and friends, planting flowers, reading, and feeding the neighborhood cats that always seemed to find a friend in him. His warm spirit and generous heart touched the lives of many.
He is survived by his beloved son, Michael (Melissa) Vaughn; his grandchildren, Anthony Vaughn, Angelique Williams, and Kevin Williams; and his cherished great-grandson, Kani Williams, who is 3 years old.
He was preceded in death by his father, Irish Vaughn, and his mother, Beatrice Vaughn and Only wife Thepencia McCormick Herbin.
Those who knew Earron will remember him for the unique mark he left on the world. He possessed a peculiar and amusing personality that could light up any room. Hilariously funny and endlessly entertaining, he was known for being jocular, kind, dashing, cheeky, charming, and confident. Earron had a carefree approach to life, never taking things too seriously. To many, he was a true Casanova and a "Sly Dawg," a nickname that perfectly captured his charismatic demeanor and playful spirit.
His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Funeral services will be held at Blackwell Greensboro Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of Earron's life.
Though he is no longer with us, the laughter, love, and unforgettable memories he created will remain forever in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
"Those we love don't go away; they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed, and forever dear."
