Harrietta Doreen Jones, born on November 26, 1963, in Prince George County, Maryland, departed this life on August 1, 2026, in the warmth and loving comfort of her Greensboro, NC home. As we reflect on her remarkable journey, our hearts are filled with a deep and abiding sense of gratitude for the time we were blessed to share with her.

On Saturday, August 9, family, friends, and loved ones are invited to gather in her memory for a Viewing at Blackwell Funeral Home of Greensboro, 3200 North O’Henry Blvd, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The following day, August 10, a Funeral Service will be held at the same location with a visitation period from 12:00 Noon until the service begins promptly at 1:00 PM. Immediately after, Harrietta will be laid to rest at Lakeview Cemetery—her final earthly journey ending in the embrace of the community she has touched so deeply.
