A loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, Regina Carr, age 60, of Greensboro, North Carolina, departed this life peacefully on Monday, September 21, 2026, at Moses Cone Hospital, surrounded by the love and presence of her family.

Regina was born in Hinds County, Jackson, Mississippi, at University Hospital to Willie Pearl Carr and the late Joe Watts. She was their only child. Regina was a graduate of Lanier High School, where she was a member of the school band.

During her career, she began working in security at Continental General Tire before advancing to the Logistics Department at Frito-Lay in Charlotte. She spent several years at Frito-Lay, where her dedication, hard work, and commitment earned her numerous awards and recognition for her outstanding work. Regina found joy in the simple things that made life special. She loved music, singing, dancing, gardening, and spending time with her family. She especially loved having a “good time.” Regina had a wonderful sense of humor and never missed an opportunity to make someone laugh. Her personality, laughter, and unforgettable spirit will forever be remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Regina was a woman of faith. She accepted Christ at a young age and carried her faith throughout her life.

Regina leaves to cherish her beautiful memory her husband of 26 years, Harold L. Leach; her loving mother, Willie Pearl Carr; and her children, Jason (Lynetta) Carr, Mitchell Carr, Jasmine Oduh, Nicole (James) Sinclair, Adrian (Floydreika) Oduh, Nicholas Oduh, Stevon Leach, and Tre’Mond Leach and her beloved grandchildren Kaiden, Cyrus, Adrian Jr., Jaylah, Ja’Kaelee, and Cassidy, who brought her great joy. She leaves behind her beloved cousin Dian Carr; aunt, Margaret Smith; nieces, nephews, immediate and extended family members; and friends.

Regina’s passing has left a void in the lives of all who knew and loved her. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
